It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melissa Watson-Morgan (North Charleston, South Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughters, Marlisa Nakisha and Sokoya Watson; her siblings, Robert Lee Pendigrast (Zennie), James Pendigrast and Brenda Lee Robinson (Clifford); and her brother-in-law John Washington.
She is survived by: her husband Earl Morgan; her son Evander Watson; her sisters, Celestine Washington, Elouise Washington (Herbert), Ann McKelvey (Johnathan), Alfreda Green (John) and Sonya Robinson (Nathan); and her uncle Benny Ladson. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1440 Folly Rd, Charleston, SC 29412).
