She was predeceased by: her husband Charles G Payne; her parents, Alfred Levine and Rosetta Levine; her children, Harry Washington, Mable Kerarise and Janie Washington; her son-in-law John Hamilton; and her siblings, Willie, Isaac, Archie, Robert, Iceman, Samuel, Mettie, Inez Jenkins and Effie Levine.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy B. Hamilton, Cleo Washington, Betty J. Washington, Mary L. Washington, Joe L. Washington and Alfred Washington; and her son-in-law Mike Kearise. She is also survived by great-grands; nieces, nephews.
