He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betty; his grandchildren, Rachel Godwin (Aaron) of North Charleston, SC, Faith Squires (Derrik) of Conway, SC and Rebecca Cooper (Casey) of Columbia, SC; his stepgrandchildren, Laura Ashley Stalvey of Conway, SC, Ronnie, Karen Gaskins of Summerville, SC and David Gunter of Summerville, SC; his great grandchildren, Ella Godwin of North Charleston, SC, Eliza Squires of Conway, SC and Banks Cooper of Columbia, SC; and his stepchildren, Cayden, Caitlynn Rogers of Conway, SC, Joshua, Matthew Gaskins of Summerville, SC, Myranda Savelle and Brieanna Beiring of Summerville, SC.
