In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Karen had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Karen may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley B Dean and Zella Murray Dean; her husband Ronald Hopkins; and her sister Joyce Nordlund. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Hopkins, Heather Lundy (Scott) and Brandon Hopkins; her grandchildren, Rachel Cameron, Rowan Lundy and Charlotte Roberts; and her brother Dennis Dean. She is also survived by many cousins and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home (7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
