She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Herzog, Sr. and Dorotha M. Herzog (Brutcher); and her brother Charles Herzog, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" Riley, Jr. of Mary's Church; her children, Elizabeth Atkisson (Brandon) of Stafford, VA and John Riley III (Amy) of Homestead, FL; her grandchildren, Donovan Riley, Andrew Riley and Abigail Atkisson; her brother Jim Herzog (Linda); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Herzog and Katrina Riley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
She was a proud member of the National Defense Transportation Association and a current member of the Army Transportation Museum Foundation.
