We bid farewell to Johnny Leo Saunders Jr. of North Charleston, South Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 16, 2024 at the age of 87. Johnny Leo touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Leo Saunders, Sr. and Mary Harrelson; and his brother Ronald Saunders. He is survived by: his children, John Kevin Saunders (Shari) and Elizabeth Huffman (Robbie); his grandchildren, Jessica Saunders, Drayton Huffman and Chris Bullock; his great grandchildren, Kaiden Tyler, Layla Rose and Cailee Grae; his siblings, Mary Kitty Dowdy (Donald), Betty Taylor, Shirley Johnson and Gloria O'Neal (Hassie); and his close friends, Bruce Cusack and Mary Smith.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Park (3715 Azalea Dr, North Charleston, SC 29405).
