It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Homer Cawley Jr. of North Charleston, South Carolina, born in Waynesboro, Georgia, who passed away on June 26, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cawley and Willie Mae Cawley; and his siblings, George Cawley and Mary Dell VanLandingham. He is survived by: his children, Dr. John Cawley (Gina) of Atlanta, GA, Michael Cawley of Atlanta, GA, Hugh Cawley of Atlanta, GA and Julie Johnson of Charleston, SC; his stepson Matthew Washburn (Elizabeth) of Atlanta, GA; and his brother Richard Cawley (Sherry) of Walterboro, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
