He was predeceased by: his parents, Baxter Carlise Givens and Daisy Justice Givens; his wife Fannie; and his grandson David Lee Etchison. He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Fox (Olin) of Charleston, SC and Carlen G Abernethy (Ken) of Charleston, SC; and his grandson James Etchinson (Krista). He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
