With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Eads of North Charleston, South Carolina, born in Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on February 20, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollie Whitehead and Ludie McCollum Whitehead; and her sisters, Charlene "Cricket" Hollingsworth and Nadean Howell. She is survived by: her husband Harold Eads; her daughters, Debrah McDonald and Cynthia Currence; her grandchildren, Jeremy McDonald (Nicole), Jennifer McDonald, Kathryn Currence and Anna O'Neal (Adam); and her great grandchildren, Madisyn Moshier, Rachel McDonald, Shelby Cross and Solei Currence. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
