He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Brown Willingham; his daughter Veronica; his son-in-law Chief Warrant Officer 4 Danny Walton; his brother Jimmie L. Edwards; and his brothers-in-law, Johnny Taylor and Floyd Cid.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Scott (James), Verneshea Green (Stacy) and Derrick Willingham; his grandchildren, Brandon Bodrick Walton, Christian Scott, Danielle Jernigan (Jacob), Stacy Green Jr., Taliyah Green, Jordan Scott, Jhol Green, Sean Willingham and Elyse Willingham; his great grandchildren, Olivia Bodrick, Journee'Bodrick, Jhasiah Green and Amya Collins; and his siblings, Ernestine Taylor, Penelope Bowman, Jennifer Cid, Walter Bowman, James Brailsford (Audrey), Eric Bowman (Ray) and Vincent Bowman.
