With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delores Short (North Charleston, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse L. Short, Jr.; her parents, George Frasier and Virginia Frasier; and her siblings, Janie Mae Gibson, Eartha Lee Frasier and Andrew Clay Frasier.
She is survived by: her children, Ernestine L. Short, Sandra D. Short, Jesse L Short III (Annette), Regina A. Anderson (Maurice) and Darrell L. Short; and her sisters, Sara A. Haynes and Mary A. McCants. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ollie M. Dickerson Memorial Chapel (4700 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church (2900 Appleton Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405). A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Gardens (2915 Ashley Phosphate Rd, North Charleston, SC 29418).
