We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2023, at the age of 82, Charles Wesley Hester of North Charleston, South Carolina, born in Hogansville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Curly" Hester and Anna Ruth Hester. He is survived by: his wife Dora Hester; his children, Charles "Chip" Wesley Hester, Jr. (Sally), Denise Bessinger and Alyce Kennedy (Sean); his grandchildren, Megan Bessinger (Ryan), Hunter Bessinger, Haley Kramer (Will), Wesley Kennedy (Kimmie Edwards) and Abigail Mueller (Hunter); his great grandchildren, Birdie, Hudson Campbell, Kit and Lily Kramer; his sister Cheryl Youmans; his sister-in-law Mandy Wade (Mike); and his aunt Tina Newton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
