He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Mizell and Essie Mae Mizell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Scarborough Mizell; and his children, Wanda Chambers, Karen Summers, Cherie Largent, Dennis Mizell and Derek Mizell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
