It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Eugene Combs (North Charleston, South Carolina), born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on January 25, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Martha Jane Combs (Jane); and his parents, Stanley A. Combs, Sr. and Beatrice Radcliff Combs. He is survived by: his children, Roxanna Mills (David) of Augusta, Georgia, Denise Butler (late Lance) of Spartanburg, Dawn Smith (David) of Mouth, Virginia, Rodney Combs (Rebecca) of Talking Rock, Curt Combs (Kathy) of North Charleston and Eric Combs (Mary) of Blairsville. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
