He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Fernandes and Mary Fernandes; his mother-in-law Irene Crasto; and his siblings, Tangi (Bonny Rodricks) and Freddy (Olivia Fernandes).

He is survived by: his wife Marlene Fernandes; his child Russell Fernandes; his sister Teresa (Ozzie Stevens); and his siblings-in-law, Elaine Murray, Marianne Fernandes, Beulah Franklin, Cecy Fernandes and Charmaine Colaco.

“Marlene and Family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Tommy. Mark & I knew him from Aiken Memory Care. We shared many meals with Tommy and he was always very pleasant and kind! Tommy and Mark had many similarities with their health journey. Both of them went to be with their Lord and Savior on September 27, 2023. They are now both healthy and happy and we know that one day we will join them! Prayers for you Marlene and your Family Cindy Stokes”
