With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shelba Joy Stone of North Augusta, South Carolina, born in Appling, Georgia, who passed away on March 30, 2023 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shelba Joy Stone to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby H. Jernigan and Marie N. Jernigan; her husband Donald Stone; and her sister Sarah Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Michael L. (Lesa) and Romie E. Stone (Annelle) of North Augusta; her siblings, Linda J. Gillespie, Charles Jernigan of North Augusta, Handy Jernigan of Brunswick and Danny Jernigan of North Augusta; her grandchildren, Allen Stone (SoYoung), Pam Ramsey (Todd), Leigh Ryan (Zeb), Brad Stone (Trisha), Brandon Stone (Melissa) and Brittany Trahan (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Karli, Jordan (Katie), Noah, Gunner, Preslee, Sydney, Jacob, Blaine, Gracie, Allie, Blake, Lacon, Emma, Anna and Summer; and her great great grandchildren, Beckett and Jane. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
