It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sergeant Thomas Jackson Freeland Jr. of North Augusta, South Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jackson Freeland, Sr. (Jack) and Vera Sykes Freeland of Mebane. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Randy of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania and Amy (Kevin Quarles); his grandson Patrick Freeland; his sisters, Judy Farrar (Mervin) and Kathryn Tucker; and his nieces and nephews, Bryan (Ellen), Steven (Amanda), Seth (Ashley), Eric (Jessica), Ben (Brady), Cory, Kimberly (Nate), Shelly (Chuck) and Kris (Jeff).
