He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hoover and Elizabeth Sumner Hoover; his sons, Ronald G. Hoover, Jr. and Jimmy Hoover; and his brothers, John and Tim Hoover.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Timothy Hoover and Sherry Lynn Brown (Barry). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
No services will be held at this time and in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 384 Murrah Rd. North Augusta, SC 29860.
