He was predeceased by: his parents, John William Cawley Sr. and Evelyn Cawley; and his siblings, Joseph Michael Cawley and Virginia Kellum. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Hightower Cawley; his children, Jeanna Smith (David), John William Cawley III (Annah), Donna Chastain (Michael), Nicole Newbegin (Kenneth) and Katie Leavitt (Travis); and his sister Patricia Lind. He is also survived by 26 Grandchildren and 8 Great grandchildren.
