With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Duncan Skinner of North Augusta, South Carolina, born in Leesville, Louisiana, who passed away on April 13, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evander B. Skinner and Myrtis Hinson Skinner; and his son John Duncan Skinner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Terrie Holton Skinner; his children, Tammy (Ricky Downs), Donna Jean (Tony Young) and James Calvin Bannister, III; his brother Vernal Skinner (Faye); his grandchildren, Jordan Underwood, Jacob Underwood (Megan) and James Owen Bannister; his great grandchild Rayne Underwood; and his pet Peddie Pie.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, everyone have a celebratory cocktail in Big John's honor.
