She was predeceased by: her spouse Marion Smith; and her parents, Hugh Franklin and Ruth Estell Hatcher Key. She is survived by: her children, Jeff, Lisa McCormick and Robin McCormick; her siblings, Edward Franklin, Myrtle Hammett and Shirley Weatherford; her grandchildren, Christie (Kade Kangas), Jeffery (Lauren McCormick), Hope (Clay Ellis), Ben DeVore, Josh (Bailey McCormick) and Jake (Madi McCormick); and her son Kent McCormick.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service (3464 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Graniteville, SC 29829).
