He was predeceased by: his wife Hattie King Jennings; his son Aaron G. Jennings; and his great grandchild Josiah Sumner.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt Transfiguration Baptist Church (350 Blanchard Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
