He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Byron Adams and Sara Ione Kitchins Adams; his daughter Sarah A. Fox; and his brothers, Walter Byron Adams, Jr. and Hosey Laverne Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Faye Garland Adams; his children, Rex Adams (Tamara) of Dunlap, TN, Jessie Adams of Ninety-Six, Heather Adams of Ninety-Six, Lynn McCormick (Steve) of Leesville and Theresa Crepes (Dean) of Leesville; and his siblings, Clyde Adams (Pat) of Ninety-Six, Cecil Adams (Patty) of Ninety-Six, John Adams (Dax) of Atlanta, Fannie Mae Turner of Ninety-Six, Opheia Dunn of Ninety-Six, Lindy Busby (Buz) of Silverstreet, Melma Hawkins (Wayne) of Ninety-Six and Alice Davis (Wayne) of Chappells.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Baptist Church (1738 Greenwood Hwy, Saluda, SC 29138).
