She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Ben Edwards; her parents, Paul Brown and Mary Pitts Brown; and her sister Phyllis B. Sanders. She is survived by: her daughters, Stephanie E. Brode (Jack) of Abbeville and Sharolyn E. Goodman (Chris) of Ninety Six; her grandsons, Garrison and Christian Goodman; her siblings, Randy Brown (Vicky) and Penny D. Brown; and her brother-in-law Danny Sanders (Christina). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
