He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph M. Wideman and Maggie Turnage Wideman; and his siblings, Shirley Jean Lowery, Lorene Whitfield, Ralph M. Wideman and James Leonard Wideman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sally Morse (Steve) of Ninety Six, Kathy Reeves (Sandra) of Greenwood and Robin Morgan (Chris) of Greenwood; his siblings, Elizabeth Brock of Abbeville, Lee Wideman of Greenwood, Charlie Wideman of Abbeville, Curtis Wideman (Jane) of Saluda and Rick Wideman (Frances) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Jordan (Brandon), Joshua, Jason, Kaleigh, Aiden, David (Jessie), Darby, Irie, Gage, Shanna, Logan, Ayla and Gryphon. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
