She was predeceased by: her husband Alton Vaughn; and her parents, Ernest Misenheimer and Beaulah Morgan Misenheimer. She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda McDowell (Don), Valerie Smith and Patricia Goodman (Gene); her grandchildren, Scott McDowell (Allyson), Blair Patterson (Jeb), Elijah Smith and Chris Goodman (Sharolyn); and her great grandchildren, Bennett McDowell, Noah McDowell, Graylen Patterson, Kate Patterson, Mac Patterson, Christian Goodman and Garrison Goodman.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery (105 Wilson Bridge Rd, Ninety Six, SC 29666).
