He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Surrett and Geneva Capps Surrett; his former wife Betty Surrett; and his daughter Rita Reed. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Surrett; his children, Chris Surrett (Amy) of Ninety Six, Chet Surrett of Ninety Six, Chuck Surrett of Ninety Six, Cheryl Rice (Gerald) of Marshall, NC, Lela Jackson (Charlie) of Edisto Beach, Jenny Barbee (Raymond) of Ninety Six and Dolly Morris (David) of Augusta; and his sister Linda Norris (Grant) of Philadelphia, TN. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
