He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Stone Addy and Cleo Jester Addy; and his brothers, Johnny and David Addy. He is survived by: his fiancée Sheila Emery of Waterloo; his sister Wanda Dunbar (Elton) of Pelion, SC; and his sister-in-law Helen Hall (Bill II). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
