He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Blanton and Muriel Huggins Blanton; and his sisters, Marilyn Black and Linda Dials. He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Ray Blanton (Patty) of Fort Mill and Carolyn Johnston of Rock Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
