She was predeceased by: her husband Dick Rowell; her parents, Talmadge Hammond and Louise Owens Hammond; her son Lee Ray Rowell; her grandson James Lee Ford; and her brother James Hammond.
She is survived by: her children, T. L. Rowell (Michele) of Nichols, Hugh Rowell of Nichols, Susie Watts (David) of Loris, Nancy Stanley (Larry) of Mollie, NC and Gail Ford (Jerry DuBall) of Nichols; and her sister Lynette "Lennie" Floyd of Nichols. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
