She was predeceased by: her parents, Pink Gause and Annie Gause; and her spouse Esau Staley. She is survived by: her children, Johnny Lee Gause (Betty) of Sumter, Donald Staley of Ludwigshafen, Germany, Bonnie Sanford of San Diego and Cherry Smith-Stanley (John) of Supply, NC; her brothers, Deacon Jimmy Lee Gause of Fayetteville, Dr. Tim Gause (Doris) of Lawrenceville and Wade Gause of London, Kentucky; and her friend Esterlene Pope. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
