He is survived by: his parent Guy Elliott Rowell; his wife Faye Rowell of Nichols; his children, Andrew Atkinson, Brandon Rowell and Courtney Jackson (Justin) of Dillon; his brothers, Gene Rowell of San Diego and Randy Rowell (Nancy) of Loris; and his grandchildren, Walter Causey, Sophia Jackson and Caitlynn Rowell.
