She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Hooks and Ellen Page Hooks; her husband Dan; her son Larry William Duncan; her brothers, A. Q. Hooks (Mary Ellen) and Franklin Hooks; and her brother-in-law Luther H. Floyd.
She is survived by: her sister Patsy Hooks Floyd of Florence; her grandsons, Daniel Duane Duncan of Nichols and Gregory Allen Duncan of Nichols; her great grandchildren, Amanda Danielle Duncan and Gregory Alexander Duncan; her sister-in-law Derotha Hooks of Conyers, Georgia; and also Debbie Duncan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
