It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver Ronnie Hayes of Nichols, South Carolina, born in Mullins, South Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manton Hayes and Stella Watts Hayes; his sons, Kevin Hayes and Chris Hayes; and his siblings, Douglas Hayes, Katherine Skipper, John Henry Hayes and Rebecca Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Elliott Hayes; his siblings, Ray Hayes (Cassandra) of Sumter, Elise Turner (Carroll) of Marion, Tommy Hayes (Shirley) of Marion, Joe Hayes of Charlotte, NC, Charles Hayes of Mullins and Susie Hayes of Marion; his mother-in-law Clotile Thompson of Nichols; and his pets, Rocky and Buddy.
