She was predeceased by: her husband Thurman Patrick Hooks, Sr.; her parents, Willie Elliott and Fannie Elliott; her children, Joseph Dayton Hooks, Billy Hooks, Douglas Hooks and Judy Pearl Hooks; and her siblings, Edward Elliott, Stafford Elliott, Mildred Cain and Margaret Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Thurman P. Hooks, Jr. (Joan) of Chapin, SC and Randy Hooks (Laura) of Mullins; and her sister Mabel McHorney of Moyock, NC.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren.
