He was predeceased by: his parents, Solon David Stroud and Ada Rowell Stroud; his wife Annie; and his brothers, David Stroud and Harold Stroud.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Stroud, Greg Stroud of Nichols and Anthony Stroud of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Holmes and Blair Barfield; and his great grandchildren, Case, Becca Faye Holmes and Lakelyn Barfield.
