With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Joseph Osgood of Nichols, South Carolina, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 56. He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Hunt; and his brother Lenny Viens. He is survived by: his wife Mary Joye Osgood of Nichols; his father Merriman "Kenny" Hunt; his daughters, Holly May of Sellers and Joy Burroughs of Effingham; his stepsons, David May of Virginia, James May of Georgia, Shawn May of Loris and Josh May of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Harper Lane, Krystin Gibson and J. P. Buffkin; his great grandchildren, Brenlee Gibson, Christian Freeman and A. J. Miles; and his siblings, John Viens, Sr. of Nichols and Nancy McCuen of Infield, CT. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lots of special friends.
