She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Rowell and Janie Blanton Rowell; her husband Howard; her son Samuel Rendel Mincey; her son-in-law Franklin Hodge; and her siblings, Bryan, Charlie, Laverne Rowell and Margaret Liddle.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Mincey Hodge of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Fran Huser (Hal), Chris Mincey (Cortney), Beth Arrington (Matt), Jason Hodge and Jessica Collins (Clay); her daughter-in-law Rennie Mincey of Nichols; and her brothers, Hubert Rowell (Jeannine) of Matthews and John Keats Rowell (Lib) of Florence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
