We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2024, at the age of 91, Donna Sue Ayers Batten of Nichols, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Clifford Ayers, Sr. and Fleetwood Causey Ayers; her husband John E. Batten, III; and her brother Dr. Jack Ayers. She is survived by: her children, Susan Batten Lipscomb (Lenny) and Jeb Batten (Karen); her niece Beth Ayers Powell (Mark); her siblings-in-law, Lynn Ayers and Welch Batten; and her grandchildren, John Richard Lipscomb (Kelsey), Eric Lipscomb (Adrienne), Brian Lipscomb (Grace), Clifford Batten, Kate Batten and Lilli Batten. She is also survived by her family, friends, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
