It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil William Stroud of Nichols, South Carolina, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, H. G. Stroud and Frances Harrelson Stroud; his former wife Carolyn Floyd Stroud; his grandson Eric Justin Stroud; and his siblings, Thomas Stroud, Maxie Stroud, Edwin Stroud and Mary Frances Crowley.
He is survived by: his children, Cecil T. Stroud (Vonda) of Nichols, Kevin L. Stroud (Judy McMillan) of Mullins and Cindy Stroud Allen (Hal) of Conway; his grandchildren, Blake Stroud, Calaeb Stroud, Carrie Lynn Stroud, Caroline Dyson and Sara Gerald; and his siblings, Randy Stroud of Nichols and Mildred S. Turner of Aynor. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
