He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Luther Elliott, Sr. and Nina Rebecca Miller Elliott; his wife Joan Huggins Elliott; and his siblings, Ethell Elliott, Harold Elliott and Eunice Hardwick.
He is survived by: his children, Derrick M. Elliott (Cheryl) of Nichols, Tammy M. Elliott of Nichols and Karla E. Collins (Milton) of Nichols; his siblings, Eldon Elliott (Clara) of Mullins, Charles Elliott (Barbara) of Camden, Allen "Squeaky" Elliott (Deloris) of Latta, Terry Wayne Elliott (Cynthia) of Nichols and Lois Graham (Buck) of Dillon; his granddaughters, Erica Morgan Elliott and Heather Caffarel (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Sadie Grace Caffarel and Sullivan James Caffarel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
