He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Foster Jones and Willie Lea Almond Jones; his wife Paula Jones; his grandson Matt Bumgarner; and his brother Willard Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Bumgarner of Nichols, SC and Dr. Jeffery Jones of Savannah, GA; his sisters, Elaine Jones Rachel of Shreveport, LA and Janette Jones Haire of Magnolia, AR; and his brother-in-law Jackie Haire. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces/grand-nephews, cousins and friends.
