He is survived by: his daughters, Virginia Long (Ethan Hancock) and Samantha Massingale (Trey Townsend); his grandchildren, Evans Johnson, Andrew Long, Brooklyn Long, Logan Johnson and Elijah Townsend; his grandmother Odessa Melinda Haney Massingale; and his siblings, Steve Massingale (Becky), Rebecca Smith (Davey), Bobby Lynn Massingale (Marcia) and Barbara Derrick (John).
