He is survived by: his wife Joyce Lynn Dowell; his daughters, Karen Dowell (Jon Vaughan), Megan Dowell (Preston Whittenberger) and Rebecca Dowell (Isaiah Smith); his grandchildren, Leif, Amelia, Henry and Lotus; and his siblings, Madge Angel, Lisa Dowell and DJ Tuttle.
A reception was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home – Newberry (1704 College St, Newberry, SC 29108).
