Vivian Terry Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Terry (Newberry, South Carolina), who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Vivian's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Vivian has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Davis and Sarah Fowler Davis. She is survived by: her sons, Zachary Terry and Patrick Terry; her sister Verona Davis Gibson; her daughters-in-law, Genene Terry and Dyana Gaynor; and her grandchildren, Calvin Terry, Tamara Terry (Dante Jennings) and Ashley Portis. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel (601 South St, Newberry, SC 29108). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Old Beaverdam Baptist Church.
