She was predeceased by: her husband Edward "Ned" Brown Carlisle; and her parents, Jack Jenkins and Elsie Dickson Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Chris, Marianne Carlisle, Tim, Mary Carlisle, Suzanne and Joey Vick; her grandchildren, Sarah Carlisle, Ann-Marie Carlisle, Ned Vick, Joshua Carlisle, Jennifer Brunson (Jonathon), Valerie Vick and Rachel Vick; and her great grandchildren, Carter Carlisle, Lauren Brunson, Gage Ellis and Lilly Brunson.

Memorials may be made to Aveleigh Presbyterian Church, 1211 Calhoun Street, Newberry, SC 29108.
