She was predeceased by: her parents, John Robinson and Gertrude Glasgow Robinson; her husband Dennis Byrd, Sr.; her grandson Freddie M. Byrd; her siblings, Johnnie Robinson, Jr., James Robinson and Bobbie Mae Williams; and her children, Virginia Byrd (Elbert), Freddie Byrd (Donna), Derone Byrd (Linda) and Delores Byrd (Alonzo).
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Byrd, Jr. (Renay), Anthony Byrd (Gail), Rodney Byrd (Nadine), Ronnie Byrd and Joseph Byrd (Precious). She is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, two sons-in-law, three sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends.
