The memory of Veria Clark (Newberry, South Carolina), who passed away on March 7, 2025 at the age of 69, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the sacred silence of farewell, Veria is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Veria's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emory Bowers and Luvenia Bowers. She is survived by: her daughter Doddy Clark (Craig); her grandchildren, Corbin, Zion, Nevaeh Clark and Daytron "Moe" Combs; her great grandchildren, Kyhia, Kashmir and Kynslei Clark; and her brother Jonas Bowers (Nezzie). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fred B. Pratt Memorial Chapel (601 South St, Newberry, SC 29108). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion AME Church (119 Mt Zion Cir, Little Mountain, SC 29075).
