He was predeceased by: his parent Jimmie Lee "J. L."; and his brothers, John Eugene Koon and Jimmie Lee Koon, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Tony R. Koon, Jr. (Rachel) of Leesville, James Jayell Koon of Edgefield, Leisa Butler (Lee) of Columbia, SC and Regina Hall (Donald) of Mebane, NC. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
