He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fredrick and Ida Ruth Day Davis; and his brother Terry Paul Davis. He is survived by: his children, Tracie D. Kinard (Ray) and Kristopher Paul Davis (Julie); his former wife Linda Dees; his siblings, Tommy Davis and Toby Duvall; his grandchildren, Kayla K. Lloyd (Billy) and Wyatt S Davis; his great grandchildren, Billy Lloyd, Emma Lloyd, Nate Lloyd and Raymond Lloyd; his niece Pam Griffin; and his nephews, William Duvall and Jeff Davis.
